Signed as an international free agent in January 2021, Chourio rapidly progressed through the minor leagues, reaching Double-A by age 18 and Triple-A by 19. He made his Major League debut on March 29, 2024, becoming the youngest player in MLB at the time and the first born in 2004 to reach the majors. Officially licensed by the MLB and MLBPA.
