Jonathan Huberdeau, selected third overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2011 NHL Draft, made an immediate impact by scoring on his first NHL shot in 2013 and winning the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year. He became Floridas all-time leading scorer in 2020 and set franchise records in 2021-22 with 85 assists and 115 points, becoming the first Panther to reach 100 points in a season. A two-time NHL All-Star, Huberdeau was traded to the Calgary Flames in July 2022 after 10 seasons with Florida. Known for his elite vision and playmaking, the Saint-Jerome, Quebec native also starred in junior with Saint John, winning a Memorial Cup and the tournament MVP award in 2011.
